The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) carried out coordinated searches in the Kurla and Govandi areas of Mumbai on Monday (March 2, 2026), prompted by intelligence regarding the proliferation of extremist content being circulated through digital networks. The operation began on Monday evening and extended past midnight into the early hours of Tuesday (March 3, 2026). It covered four locations, including three premises in Govandi and one in Kurla, which were subject to thorough inspection, officials said.
