The assailants robbed the driver of two mobile phones, his autorickshaw, and cash. | Photo Credit: File Photo An autorickshaw driver was assaulted and robbed by two unidentified persons who had booked his vehicle through a ride-hailing app in early March. The police have now arrested one of the accused and have recovered stolen valuables worth over ₹3 lakh. According to the police, the incident occurred on March 1, when the complainant, a resident of Rayasandra in Electronic City, accepted a ride request between 10.30 a.m. and 10.45 a.m. near Electronic City–Huskur.
