Following a meeting of key stakeholders, the Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) announced that the continental championships was rescheduled due to the current situation. “The competition will now take place from May 12 to 17,” the AWF said in a statement. The Indian Weightlifting Federation had announced that selection for the Asian Games would be based on the performances at the Asian championships.
