The Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) in-charge Managing Director and CEO of Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) P. Pulla Reddy called for rapid mobilisation of public and private capital to implement energy-efficiency projects across the State.

Speaking at the Investment Bazar Workshop at Hotel Murali Fortune, Mr. Pulla Reddy urged industries and financial institutions to convert Andhra Pradesh’s technical potential into bankable, time-bound investments that boost competitiveness and sustainability.

Highlighting over ₹408 crore worth of viable projects identified through six Investment Bazar events, Mr. Pulla Reddy emphasised swift financial closure and adherence to the State Energy Efficiency Policy 2024-28 and ECBC 2017 compliance. He encouraged industries to leverage the Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries and Establishments (ADEETIE) scheme, offering interest subvention for micro, small, and medium enterprises.

The workshop, attended by nearly 50 industries, bankers, and dignitaries, including New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh(NREDCAP) VC and Managing Director Kamalakar Babu and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Director P. Shyam Sunder, reinforced Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to green industrial growth and energy efficiency.

Mr. Shyam Sunder interacted with MSME representatives and elaborated on the benefits of the ADEETIE scheme, including interest subvention, technical handholding from audit to implementation, and facilitation through a nodal bank and project management unit. He encouraged MSMEs to modernise their operations and reduce energy costs through the timely adoption of energy-efficient technologies.
