The State government has appointed Vetukuri A.V.S.S.N. Raju, of Kakinada, as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR). The other members of the body are K.G. Venkata Padmalatha, native of Guntur, Doni Srinivasa Murthy, of Sri Satya Sai district, Vundavalli Gandhi Babu of Alluri Sitarama Raju district, Challa Madhusudhan Rao, native of Guntur district, Mandala Ganga Suryanarayana, of Kakinada district and P. Naga Manasa, native of Konaseema district. The new body will hold office for three years, the order, issued on Saturday (March 28, 2026) said.
