Introducing the resolution, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called upon each one of the MLAs to contribute to the mission so that Andhra Pradesh (AP) would become a progressive State by fostering growth across social, economic and cultural sectors. He observed that the ultimate objective of the NDA Government was to establish AP as a leader in all sectors in alignment with the Viksit Bharat-2047 goals. The Government of AP targeted to transform the State into a ₹308 lakh crore economy by 2047 thereby making a major contribution to India’s emergence as a global power. Further, the CM said the State government’s focus was on the development of local industries, increasing per capita income, and maintaining an annual growth rate of 15%. He observed that the cooperation of the House was essential to achieving the combined goals of the Central and State governments. Emphasis was laid on transforming the State into a manufacturing hub with the ‘vocal for local’ and ‘local to global’ themes. Endorsing the resolution, Deputy CM K. Pawan Kalyan said AP has the potential to become a model State for others, for which the slew of sectoral policies brought in during the last 20 months should be implemented with true spirit.
