He said during the Collectors’ Conference held in Amaravati on Wednesday (March 11, 2026). He explained that through this innovative approach devised by Mr. Himanshu Shukla, steps are being taken to identify the land disputes at the village level and resolve them in a phased manner. As part of this system, the main objective is to select a village and have the officials visit the village in four instalments in a month to examine and resolve the land problems of the people. This programme is helping the people to comprehensively resolve their complaints on issues like land records, mutations, simple title deeds, DKT pattas, and house sites. Until now, the villagers have had to go around offices several times to resolve their land problems and face difficulties, the CM said, suggesting Collectors of other districts to implement this programme across the state. Mr. Shukla said, “This programme aims at identifying and resolving the problems at the village level. The people are getting quick solutions at their own place without having to go around the government offices. So far, this programme has been conducted in 110 villages in the district during the last three months, out of which, land issues were resolved in 26 villages.” “Steps are being taken to resolve the issues in the remaining villages as well. This programme is reducing the land disputes and increasing people’s trust in the government,” he added.
