Manoharan were among the prominent candidates who filed their nominations for the Assembly elections in Tiruchi district on Saturday. Mr. Mahesh, 48, the DMK’s Tiruchi south district secretary, filed his nomination for the Tiruverumbur constituency. He was accompanied by Durai Vaiko, Tiruchi MP, and functionaries of the alliance parties.
