In a major technological milestone, Andhra Pradesh is set to emerge as a frontrunner in India’s quantum technology space, with Amaravati hosting the country’s first Quantum Test and Reference Facilities. The initiative, part of the ambitious Amaravati Quantum Valley project, will be formally launched on April 14, coinciding with World Quantum Day. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate two advanced quantum computer test beds, named 1S and 1Q, at SRM University in Amaravati and Medha Towers in Gannavaram, respectively. These facilities are expected to place Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of next-generation computing technologies.
