The Dakshina Kannada unit of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has alleged that LPG distributors have resorted to black-marketing even as the district administration has failed to contain the “gas mafia” that has emerged following the West Asia crisis.

Speaking at a protest organised by DYFI in the city on Tuesday (April 7) to protest non-availability of LPG cylinders, DYFI Dakshina Kannada president B.K. Imtiyaz said the government should provide an immediate solution to the problems being faced by common people.
