The Karkala Town police arrested Mohammed Faizal, 22, an alleged drug peddler, of Karkala taluk, under the PITNDPS Act | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT An alleged drug peddler from Karkala taluk in Udupi district was arrested under provisions of Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PITNDPS) Act. In a press release, police said Mohammed Faizal, 22, of Kasaba village in Karkala taluk of Udupi district, was accused in five cases of drug peddling. Of this, he was convicted in two cases, while two cases were pending trial. One case was under investigation.
