ASHOK Alleging corruption in tenders in Madurai Corporation, AIADMK urban district secretary Sellur K. Raju charged that the tenders for laying roads across the city had been given to select few contractors. Addressing protesters at a demonstration organised by the party here on Thursday, Mr. Raju said that e-tenders were introduced for works above ₹6 crore. However, the e-tender system were accessible only by the few, he alleged.
