As part of its nationwide initiative to enhance sustainable agriculture credit, the Central Bank of India, Regional Office, Hubballi, organised a Mega Agriculture Credit Outreach Campaign recently. Inaugurating the campaign, Regional Head of the bank Dodda Rangappa said that the Mega Agri Credit Outreach Campaign reflects the bank’s commitment and unwavering support to strengthen the agriculture sector and uplift farming. The campaign also provided a platform for direct interaction between bank officials and farmers, making them aware of various agriculture loan products, government-linked schemes and sustainable farming practices, he added. He also highlighted the importance of social security schemes such as PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY and SSY. Branch Managers from Kerekalmatti, Navanagar and Kalghatgi branches along with agriculture customers were present.
