In a bid to improve stray dog management efforts, the Bengaluru South City Corporation on Sunday organised a first-of-its-kind indie puppy adoption drive in Jayanagar to promote animal welfare. Over 100 dog lovers gathered at the Shalini Ground in Jayanagar for the drive titled ‘Adopt, don’t shop’. Dr. Sreenath, the Chief Veterinary Officer of the South Corporation, told The Hindu that 10 dogs were adopted during the drive.
