ACB officials during raids at the properties of Endowments Assistant Commissioner at Tadepalli in Guntur on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: HANDOUT The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided properties of Assistant Commissioner (Endowments Department), Kalingiri Santhi, on Tuesday (April 7, 2026). The ACB police arrested Ms. Santhi, who will be produced before the ACB Special Court in Vijayawada. Investigating officers have registered a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case against the Assistant Commissioner. Multiple teams conducted raids at different locations in Tadepalli of Guntur district and in Visakhapatnam. During the searches, officials unearthed a two-storied building in Tadepalli, a residential flat in Visakhapatnam, 770 grams of gold ornaments, silver jewellery weighing 3 kg, a four-wheeler, and other valuables, the ACB said in a release. Ms. Santhi was appointed as Assistant Commissioner in Endowments Department through APPSC in 2020, and worked in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. The accused officer was under suspension from July 2024 to March 2026. Further investigation is on.
