Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Environment and Forests, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (PR&RD) and Rural Water Supply (RWS) K. Pawan Kalyan on Sunday (March 22) called for collective efforts to conserve every drop of water, on the occasion of World Water Day on Sunday. He stated in a message on X that the PR&RD and RWS have launched extensive water conservation and supply initiatives under the Jal Jeevan Mission and the VB GRAM-G. These initiatives ranged from providing clean drinking water to all households to developing sustainable water resources and restoring traditional waterbodies to ensure water security for the people, he said, stressing the need for proper coordination between the departments concerned to achieve those objectives.
