The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday filed a compliance report on the appointment of 326 candidates selected in the Group-I examinations (conducted vide notification No.27/2018) for non-focal posts, in the High Court as per the assurance given by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand on February 25. The report has been submitted to the High Court Registrar (Judicial) as directed by Justices Battu Devanand and A. Hari Haranadha Sarma, who gave the Chief Secretary time till Thursday morning to file a report of compliance with their order dated February 11. During his appearance before the court on February 25 morning, Mr. Vijayanand promised to implement the said order within 24 hours, which he got done by the same day evening by issuing a top-priority note to the Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries concerned. The final hearing on the alleged irregularities in the evaluation of the Group-I examination answer-sheets, is scheduled for March 16, by which the SIT has to submit its findings.
