Tiruchi Corporation has collected a total revenue of ₹48.23 lakh by penalising cattle owners and auctioning unclaimed animals since the launch of the drive against stray cattle on city roads in November 2022. Dedicated teams patrol roads round-the-clock, covering residential areas, arterial roads, and busy market zones to prevent congestion caused by wandering cattle.
