The highest temperature of 46°C was recorded in Telangana on the third consecutive day. A total of seven districts logged maximum temperatures over 45°C on Wednesday (April 29, 2026). The hot weather conditions may persist as India Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad Centre has forecast no large changes over the next three days.

The highest of 46°C in Adilabad on Wednesday was followed by 45.9°C in Banswada of Kamareddy; 45.8°C in Raikal of Jagtial; Kerameri (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), Bhainsa (Nirmal) and Mosra (Nizamabad), and 45.4°C in Kamanpu (Pedapalli). Barring two, the maximum temperatures in 31 districts was above 42°C, according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report.
