As many as seven people died after a compound wall of Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru reportedly collapsed, as heavy rains lashed the city on the evening of April 29, 2026. Heavy rains, thunderstorms and hailstorms lashed the city on Wednesday evening, throwing normal life out of gear. The downpour led to waterlogged roads and road cave-ins at several places disrupting traffic.
