The duo had allegedly demanded a total of ₹30 lakh in connection with a land-related matter in Bengaluru. According to officials, a case has been registered under Sections 7(a) and 7A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Amendment Act, 2018). The complainant, Ravi Kumar, 41, a resident of Attur in Yelahanka, had approached authorities alleging that a bribe was being demanded to secure a favourable order in a Revenue Tribunal case pending before the Assistant Commissioner (North) office.
