The Kanniyakumari district’s total voter turnout for General Assembly elections held on Thursday stood at 75.52%, with the Kanniyakumari constituency witnessing highest turnout at 81.34%. The district has six constituencies such as Kanniyakumari, Nagercoil, Colachel, Padmanabhauram, Vilavancode and Killiyoor, with 1,914 polling booths set up across the district.
