Image used for representational purposes. | Photo Credit: Istock A railway worker attached to onboard services on the Visakha Express has been booked on a charge of raping a woman passenger during a journey from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad on Sunday (April 25, 2026) the police said. The woman lodged a complaint at the Rentachintala police station in Palnadu district on Tuesday, and a First Information Report (FIR) was registered. The case has since been transferred to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further investigation.
