The Cyber Crime Wing of the Greater Chennai City Police has registered a case after false information was circulated on social media regarding the entry of an ambulance at Loyola College, a vote counting centre. Police said a load worker at the counting centre was rushed to hospital after he suddenly suffered a seizure. However, misleading posts on social media raised suspicion over the movement of the ambulance within the premises.
