Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) said it is headed for a massive expansion with a revenue target of ₹5,000 crore by 2027-28. The 125 year old-jewellery retailer, who made the sceptre (Sengol) installed in the new Parliament, said it intends to achieve the target by expanding its footprint across Tamil Nadu and Telangana, with stores coming up in key cities including Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli and Hyderabad.
