SHAIKMOHIDEEN Retired nutritious meal workers on Saturday staged a demonstration here, demanding provision of defined wage for nutritious meal workers. The protesters also demanded that retired nutritious meal workers be provided with ₹7,850 as family pension, immediate posting of nutritious meal workers in vacant positions and staff each nutritious meal centre with three persons comprising an organiser and cooking assistants. A large number of retired nutritious meal workers participated in the protest and raised slogans.
