Former Chief Minister and Congress leader V. Narayanasamy has demanded ₹10,000 for each of the ration cardholders as Pongal gift in Puducherry. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the former Chief Minister said the government should provide ₹10,000 to alleviate the sufferings of the people.
