The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has not put pressure on anyone to be part of the government if the NDA wins in the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu this year, said Nainar Nagenthran, State president of the BJP, in Coimbatore, on Saturday. AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami will be the Chief Minister and the number of BJP MLAs going to the Assembly will be in double digits, he said. The BJP has not held talks with the DMDK so far, he clarified. BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan told the media at the airport that the DMK was scared of the BJP. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin should tell the DMK cadre that they can oppose the political views of the BJP but they should not use violence. The DMK alliance will break before the elections, she said.
