Over 1,700 teachers and schools in the district were felicitated at an event on Saturday for achieving 100% pass rate in the 2024–25 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The event was organised by the district school education department and recognised the performance of 92 schools that secured full pass marks. A total of 1,785 teachers guided Class 10 students to full pass marks, including 331 in Tamil, 441 in English, 343 in Mathematics, 359 in Science, and 311 in Social Science. For Class 12, 1,211 teachers contributed to the results. Director of School Education S. Kannappan attended the felicitation. District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar presented awards to all the 92 schools and congratulated the teachers and students for their achievement. In addition, 52 students who excelled in the Tamil proficiency examination were awarded prizes and certificates by the District Collector.
