Andhra Pradesh district authorities on Monday (April 27, 2026) said there was no shortage of petrol or diesel in the State, and asked the public not to panic-buy or be misled by rumours circulating on social media. The clarifications came from Collectors and Superintendents of Police across Rayalaseema and the Visakhapatnam region, even as queues continued at outlets through the day.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held his second teleconference on the supply situation, after his Sunday review of 421 of the State’s 4,510 outlets that had run dry the previous day.
