The Delhi Legislative Assembly will convene a one-day special session on April 28 to discuss women’s reservation. The development comes days after the Bill was defeated in the Lok Sabha amid criticism over its linkage with the delimitation exercise. In a press statement, the Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat said the session will begin at 11 a.m. at the Old Secretariat. Sources said women’s reservation is likely to be discussed, and the session may be extended if required.
