Mahesh Kumar | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The district administration is all set to lay 500-km-long insulated electric wires to prevent repeated power cuts caused by falling of coconut leaves on electric wires across Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. Most of the electric wires pass through coconut orchids across the district. In an official release, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar said; “There are repeated incidents of power cuts and electric wires breaking due to coconut leaves falling on them. Power cuts during the monsoon are alarming.
