Madurai City Police have made certain traffic regulations in view of the series of events during the Chithirai festival. A statement said that cargo vehicles would be allowed only during the permitted hours on Monday in view of Digvijayam festival. On Monday from 10 p.m. to Tuesday 3 p.m. no cargo vehicle would be allowed on the four Aavani Moola Streets.
