The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has questioned the Andhra Pradesh government over land acquisition for the proposed Amaravati Ring Road, alleging that farmers’ consent was being ignored. AIKS president Ashok Dhawale visited Gudivada village in Tenali division of Guntur district, where he held a meeting with farmers who were likely to lose lands for the project.
