Maximum temperatures continued to surge across Telangana on Saturday (April 26), with large parts of the State reeling under intense heat conditions. A total of eight districts recorded temperatures above 44C, while a majority of others remained above the 41C mark. According to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Mendora in Nizamabad was the hottest location in the State recording a maximum temperature of 44.4C. This was followed by 44.3C in Mallapur (Jagtial), 44.2C in Madnur (Kamareddy), Kannepalli (Mancherial), Dasturabad (Nirmal), Kamanpur (Peddapalli), 44.1C in Bela (Adilabad), Anumula Haliya (Naldonda), 44C in Aswapuram (Bhadradri Kothagudem) and Kerameri (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad).
