Sriram Kannada activist Vatal Nagaraj on Sunday cautioned the Congress that the party would be in disarray if it loses Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and backed his continuation in the top post even beyond 2028, subject to his health. Speaking to reporters after staging a demonstration in Mysuru to highlight rising prices — during which he pushed a cart and distributed packets of salt to the public — Mr. Vatal Nagaraj also warned of a “revolution” if Mr. Siddaramaiah is replaced as Chief Minister.
