The assailants employed lethal weapons during the assault before subsequently fleeing the scene. The local people and his family members took him to a hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Tunga Nagar Police have registered the case and formed teams to identify the assailants. The boy was attacked by the group over a personal matter, it is said.
