The iconic, fictional pass created by Roald Dahl in his book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory gave five children the opportunity to tour one of the world’s biggest candy-making factories. While we do not have the chance to win these tickets, Indian chocolatiers are now creating experiences to give people a closer look at the novelty of Indian craft chocolate and how it is made. The latest brand to head in this direction is Bengaluru-based Smoor, known for its couverture chocolates and desserts. The brand is now ringing in a new milestone with the launch of its first range of their Signature Indian Cacao Range crafted with Indian origin chocolate and we are here to get a first look of the range at their newly-launched Smoor Experience Centre. The swanky new ‘living museum of cocoa’ is sprawled across over 60,000 square feet and offers visitors an immersive experience of their end-to-end services: from sourcing and manufacturing to R&D and experiential retail.
