Power outages add to Kochi’s summer woes

Various parts of the city and its suburbs have been witnessing disruptions in power supply for the past few days, causing much discomfort to residents amid the summer heat. Power outages were reported from key areas, including Vyttila, Kadavanthra, Kalamassery, and Thripunithura, on multiple occasions this week.

Power supply was affected multiple times late night, disrupting residents’ sleep and leaving many sweating. The supply was suspended for around 30 minutes in several places.
