Vizag police help ex-convicts rebuild lives under ‘Operation Jyothirgamayee’

In a unique initiative aimed at offering a second chance to those seeking to rebuild their lives, the city police have extended support to ex-convicts under ‘Operation Jyothirgamayee’, helping them secure employment and lead a normal life with the idea to integrate them into society.

The city has a many individuals with criminal backgrounds, ranging from youth to middle-aged, who have faced trials, convictions, and also completed their jail terms. Many of them are also primary breadwinners with families and children depending on them, making rehabilitation and livelihoods essential for their future.
