Mundathikode blast: Thiruvambady fireworks licensee Satheesh succumbs to burns

Mundathikode Satheesh, 46, fireworks licensee of Thiruvambady Temple for Thrissur Pooram and owner of the Mundathikode fireworks unit that was gutted in the Tuesday blast, succumbed to burns at Thrissur Government Medical College Hospital on Friday.

Satheesh, who suffered 90% burns in the fireworks accident, had been on ventilator support with critical injuries, including severe burns to the face, spine, and across the body. He died around 3.45 pm.
