Cricket fans in Mangalagiri are in for a treat with an ‘IPL Fan Park’ event to be held on April 25 and 26, featuring live screenings of matches in a stadium-like atmosphere. The initiative by MLA and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, with support from the Board of Control for Cricket in India, aims to bring the excitement of the Indian Premier League closer to fans. Rajya Sabha MP and Andhra Cricket Association secretary Sana Satish Babu on Friday (April 24, 2026) said that large LED screens would telecast four matches over two days at the TIDCO housing complex. He noted that Mangalagiri has a strong sporting culture, with over 150 teams participating in local leagues, and encouraged residents to attend in large numbers.
