Electricity supply to the following areas in Thanjavur will remain suspended on April 27 in view of the annual “Chithirai” car festival of Sri Brahadeeswarar temple, Thanjavur, popularly known as the Big Temple. According to an official release, the power supply will be remain suspended from 6 a.m. in Mela Veethi, Vadakku Veethi, Kizha Veethi, South Veethi, Maanojiappa Street, Ellaiammankovil Street, Vadakku Alangam, Ayyankadai Street, Naalukal Mandapam, Maatusanthai Road, Siresh Chatram Salai on Monday and restored after the temple car reaches its deck.
