Karnataka Yakshagana Academy has chosen K.M. Raghava Nambiyar, a senior Yakshagana researcher, Bhagavatha and scriptwriter of Udupi for its Parthi Subba award for 2025. The award carries ₹1 lakh in purse, a plaque, and a certificate. The award will be presented to him at a function at Janardhana and Mahakali temple, Ambalpady, Udupi on May 3. Other awards of the academy for 2025 such as its honorary award, Yaksha Siri award, Endowment award and book award will be presented at the same function, according to a release from the academy on Thursday.
