Ashok The 3,079 polling stations in the 10 Assembly constituencies across Madurai district witnessed brisk polling in the Assembly elections on Thursday, which was largely incident-free. Rural segments in the district recorded more voter turnout compared to urban segments, with Sholavandan and Thirumangalam Assembly constituencies recording more than 87% voter turnout each, as per the latest data provided by ECI.
