State Minister P. Rajeeve with NCP leader T.P. Peethambaran on his birthday at his residence on Thursday. Veteran politician and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) national general secretary T.P. Peethambharan turned 99 on Thursday (April 23, 2026). People from various walks of life greeted him at his residence on the day. Minister P. Rajeeve, CPI(M) leader K.N. Unnikrishnan, and Congress leader V.M. Sudheeran were among those who greeted him on the day. Mr. Peethambharan’s political career, spanning eight decades, began with the youth wing of the Congress. He was elected thrice to the Kerala Legislative Assembly. He had also served as a teacher at SDPY school.
