Nestled at the edge of Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary, Musalimadugu village in Palamaner mandal is poised to become a vibrant eco-tourism spot. This forested village is in line for a tourism push, with an initial allocation of ₹20 lakh to improve basic infrastructure.

A major highlight of the village is its existing Kumki elephant camp, which is home to four elephants. The Forest officials are exploring the possibility of introducing a safari within the camp area, a move that could offer visitors a closer experience of the surrounding wilderness, which is home to over 40 wild elephants, coupled with a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
