New Delhi, April 22: Spurred on by the success of the SITE programme, Government has decided to bring nearly 9,000 villages under the proposed Terrestrial Television Extension Scheme by the end of January next. The current SITE programme which comes to an end on July 31 under the one year contract covers only 2,400 villages.
