Extensive arrangements in place as over 29 lakh voters head to polls in Kanniyakumari and Thoothukudi

In line with 17^th general assembly elections scheduled to be held on Thursday, election preparedness works are in full swing for as many 15,20,338 voters from Kanniyakumari district.

After the final draft of SIR was released on February 23 across the State, the number of electorates stood at 15,10,550 in Kanniyakumari district. However, through inclusion, over 9,000 voters were added to the list.
