Books being arranged for Thursday’s exhibition at Madhuram Gayati, Puthuppariyaram, Palakkad. As the world marks Book Day on Thursday (April 23), a distinctive exhibition celebrating Palakkad in all its literary richness is being organised at Madhuram Gayathi at Puthuppariyaram, near Olavakode. Nearly 100 books exploring Palakkad’s language, culture and layered histories will be on display. Many of these works, spanning genres such as novels, historical studies, anthologies and autobiographies, evoke the region through stories and myths, each offering a nuanced portrait of the land and its people.
